Definitions

Coordinator: A person responsible for interviewing potential members, facilitating transactions between members, and overseeing daily operations of the TimeBank.

Kitchen Cabinet: The group responsible for making decisions and developing policies to maintain and enhance community within the Southwest Detroit TimeBank.

Member: An individual, organization, business, or group who is eligible to provide and receive services and has attended an orientation session.

Transaction: An exchange of services between two or more TimeBank members.

TimeBank hours: One TimeBank hour is earned for each hour of service provided to other TimeBank members. TimeBank hours are not redeemable for cash.
