Upcoming TimeBank Events/Próximos eventos
Below are both events from UOC TimeBank and events hosted by some of our partner organizations (Garage Cultural, MI Alliance of TimeBanks, LGBTQ+ Intergenerational TimeBank) that we think TimeBank members may be interested in.
- March 12- International Women’s Day Brunch at Garage Cultural (4670 Junction) 12-5 PM. Our Garage Cultural friends along with a ton of other folks are putting on this free event with food, music, workshops, and more. Go check it out!
- March 14- New Member Orientation at 5:30 in our orientation zoom room. Attending an orientation is required of all new TimeBank members. These short (usually less than an hour) meetings allow us to get to know you, answer any questions you might have, and show you how the TimeBank works! We have a standing new member orientation time the first Thursday of each month at 5:30 PM. If this time and day doesn’t work for you, get in touch and we are happy to schedule another time that works better.
- March 15- Participatory Design Session for Riders from 12:30-2:30 PM either in person at 6900 McGraw or virtually. Are you someone who often needs rides to appointments (either don’t have a drivers license or reliable vehicle)? Join this session to help us improve the way the TimeBank gets people’s rides AND earn a $50 stipend. To get started you can either come half an hour early to the meeting (12 PM) or fill out the registration packet here: tinyurl.com/4hxp6a6x
