Upcoming TimeBank Events/Próximos eventos

 

  • February 27- Our next Transportation Design Session online from 3-5 PM with researchers from U of M who are working with us to design a better community ride share system. For this session we are particularly interested in talking to riders (folks without a drivers license, reliable car, or who otherwise often need rides to appointment). Those who participate will get a $20 gift card as a Thank You gift.
  • March 2- New Member Orientation at 5:30 PM at this zoom link. Attending an orientation is required of all new TimeBank members. These short (usually less than an hour) meetings allow us to get to know you, answer any questions you might have, and show you how the TimeBank works! We have a standing new member orientation time the first Tuesday of each month at 5:30 PM. If this time and day doesn’t work for you get in touch and we are happy to schedule another time that works better.
  • March 3- Bug Out Bag Basics with Regina Lawson at 6 PM. Mama Regina will teach us about 10 items you should have packed in a bag in case of emergency. Use this Zoom link to join the workshop.
  • March 10- Blueberry Popover Cooking Class with Chef Bee at 6 PM. Join us for another cooking at home class where Chef Bee will teach us how to make super easy vegan Blueberry Popovers. To sign up for the class register at this link. If you want the TimeBank to provide ingredients for you, you will want to sign up by March 5.
  • March 15- Book Club meeting for If it Bleeds by Stephen King at 7 PM. Use this zoom link or call 1 312 626 6799 with Meeting ID 827 2821 1503 and passcode 239251. Available from the Detroit Public Library and on the free app Libby.
  • March 16- Game Night online from 6 to 8 PM. Play fun party games with other TimeBank members via Zoom every third Tuesday of the month. All ages are welcome. Use this Zoom link to join in.
  • March 18- Theater Games with Sherrine at 6 PM. Join us for an hour of creative movement and fun. Sherrine will lead us through a few different activities to help you shake off the work day and head into you’re evening with a fresh perspective. Join at this Zoom link
  • March 23- Kitchen Cabinet Meeting at 6 PM at this zoom link. Meetings of the Kitchen Cabinet are opportunities for TimeBank members to learn about what is going on with the TimeBank and to offer ideas for upcoming projects or events. All are welcome!
